Limited Warranty
US Polymers warrants to the original buyer for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase that the shutters will be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
If the shutters are found to be defective, at our option, we will repair or replace your shutters. This warranty does not cover any defect which results from misuse, alteration, misapplication, handling, acts of god or from failure to follow the use and care instructions.
This warranty does not apply to shutter installation, removal or reinstallation costs and does not cover claims for incidental or consequential damages of any sort. No sales person, dealer or retailer of US Polymers has the right to modify this Warranty in anyway, either verbally or in writing.
To obtain warranty service call our customer service hotline at 1(800) 483_1361. All warranty service requests must include the original sales receipt or other satisfactory proof and date of purchase, with a short description of the problem requiring service.

How to Measure For A Perfect Fit
|
|
|
Outside Mount (preferred method for easy installation): |
|
|
1) Measure width you wish to cover in three places. Add at least 1 1/2" overlap on each side of opening for attachment. (This is for the Hanging Strip that will attach to the wall).
2) Measure height you wish to cover in three places. Include at least 1 1/2" overlap at top and bottom.
NOTE: Make sure there is 1 1/2" clearance on the sides, top and bottom of window to mount hanging strips and light stops.
-If installing on a Trim, make sure Trim is flat at least 1" from outside edge to inside edge of Trim allowing for Hanging Strip to sit on the Trim.
-Installing beyond a Trim is not recommended as Trim may interfere with louver operation. Mount shutters inside instead.

Inside Mount: |
|
|
1) Check window for square ness by measuring window diagonally. If diagonals differ by 1/2" or more, outside mount should be used.
Note: Shutters come with adjustable hinges than can correct for windows up to 1/2" out of square.
2) Depth of window opening must be at least 2". Check for protruding handles, cranks, locks . . .
3) Measure window opening width and height in three places; record the smallest of the three measurements.

Installation 3 Easy Steps Do It Yourself |
|
|
Step 1
Attach left hanging strip to inside of opening or on desired mounting area surrounding opening using a level.
Step 2
Attach top light stop, bottom light stop and finally right hanging strip, using a right angle for alignment.
Step 3
Mount panels on pre-hinged hanging strips and align panels with our totally adjustable hinges.
Step 4
Attach catches and receiver to finish off your installation. |
